Recital by Finnish musician Minna Raskinen Saturday 21 February

Minna Raskinen is a Finnish musician who is an expert player of the country's instrument, the Kantele. Her performance included traditional pieces as well as her own compositions and improvisations. The recital was enchanting and the church the perfect place visually and acoustically. An audience of about 24 sat entranced while she played a number of different Kanteles and spoke about Finland and its music. She also led the audience in a circle dance.
